Volunteers Needed

The Monroe Downtown Arts Fest happening April 18th is in need of people interested in some fun and excitement with a mix of a little mild labor.

Here are a few things they would love to have your help with:

  • Helping artist set up and disassemble displays.
  • Helping with any decorating.
  • Selling refreshments and food.
  • Helping set up and maintain Children’s Area.
  • Directing people to the various events.

So if your interested in helping fellow patrons have a good time please let them know by
sending us your Name, Phone Number and E-Mail on Facebook or send it to: downtownartfest@gmail.com

p.s. If your resume is slim (as most of yours are) this is a way to begin bolstering that and lead to future connections and opportunities to give back to your art community. Think about if you are applying for scholarships, if you can write that you volunteer in your art community it makes you sound like a good person who is active. I strongly recommend helping a little bit if you can, if for nothing else, because it is a good thing to do.
